Spirit FM Radio is a real tuned FM radio app that supports RDS data (when unlocked). It is NOT a streaming app.

This app does not work on most phones (but work is underway). That's life. Read on or read my XDA thread for tech explanations. Why get angry at me for providing a free app ? I don't work for Google, your carrier or phone manufacturer.
Until Jan 1, 2012 I will be concentrating on family time and paid customers. Buy Spirit FM Unlocked if you need support. Satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed or I will refund you in full, so don't worry about the 15 minute return race.
How many other "Real FM" apps are on the Market ? Two: 1 for Galaxy S only and one repackaged Motorola app.
Why ? Because it's extremely difficult for 3rd parties. Google does not support FM. This app uses painstakingly reverse-engineered methods.
Spirit works on some stock phones, but usually requires SuperUser/root access. Work is underway to support as many devices as possible.
Some phones will never work and nobody can make them work because the hardware is disabled. This includes Atrix, Nexus S, US Galaxy S2s, Galaxy Tab, Droid (1)/Milestone, P999 G2x, Galaxy Spica.
