Description

German Dictionaries is an offline multi-languagese dictionary dedicated to German or to people who is studying German.

It includes following dictionary database:

English - German (250,000 words)
German - English (250,000 words)
French - German (300,000 words)
German - French (300,000 words)
Japanese - German (500,000 words)
German - Japanese (130,000 words)
Italian - German (400,000 words)
German - Italian (420,000 words)
Spanish - German (410,000 words)
German - Spanish (400,000 words)
Chinese - German (500,000 words)
German - Chinese (130,000 words)
Portugese - German (300,000 words)
German - Portugese (130,000 words)

Application Features:

- [for iPhone, iPod] Inside the application, there is a Web Browser to help you read foreign websites and news
Every time you found out [new word], please select the text, choose [Look up] or [Translate] menu to find out the meaning.
+[Look up] menu: will open detail explanation of the new word by using dictionary in the application
+[Translate] menu: will translate selected text into another language (refer to [Setting] tab)
+WebBrowser support open multi-tab at the same time
+hold a URL will allow you to open it in backgroud to read later
+Support Bookmarks
+Translate function support 107 languages (need to run online)

- Support install custom Stardict (made by users) dictionaries
To install a new stardict dictionary, please do as following:
→(1) download stardict file from internet (*.tar.bz2) with search keyword "stardict"→(2) open iTunes, select your device, then copy stardict file (*.tar.bz2) into this application by using File Sharing
→(3) open this application then select [Custom dict] tab
